Refund policy
Different return policies apply based on your location. Please read the section that applies to you.
For US Customers
Standard Returns
You may return a stocked rug within 2 days of receipt as long as it is in new condition. A 10% restocking fee will be charged. You will be responsible for all shipping costs.
Exchanges
You may exchange a rug within 7 days of receipt at no charge. You will be responsible for all shipping costs and any costs related to damage.
Return Process
Contact dodd@peaceindustry.se within the applicable timeframe to request return or exchange authorization. We'll inform you of the return address and instructions. Items sent back without authorization will not be accepted.
Defective Items
Report defective, damaged, or incorrect rugs within 48 hours of delivery. You will be responsible for return shipping costs and any costs related to damage.
Non-Returnable Items
- Custom rugs and personalized designs
- Discounted merchandise marked with a reduced price
- Items without original packaging or tags
- Items damaged by use or normal wear
For European Union Customers
14-Day Cooling-Off Period (EU Law)
You have 14 days from delivery to cancel your purchase for any reason without justification. This is your legal right under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
To exercise this right: - Contact dodd@peaceindustry.se within 14 days of delivery - Rug must be in original condition with tags and packaging - We'll inform you of the closest return address to you
Refunds: Full purchase price (including any shipping costs paid) refunded within 14 days of receiving your return.
Return shipping: You pay return shipping costs.
2-Year Guarantee (EU Law)
You have a minimum 2-year guarantee against defective rugs under EU law. Defects must be reported to dodd@peaceindustry.se within 2 months of discovery.
Burden of proof: - First 12 months: We must prove any defect wasn't present at delivery - After 12 months: You must prove the defect existed at delivery
Your choice of remedy: You can choose repair, replacement, or refund for defective rugs. We may offer repair or replacement first if it can be done within reasonable time (maximum 30 days) and without significant inconvenience to you.
All defect remedies provided at no cost to you, including return shipping.
Refunds: Issued within 14 days of our decision to refund.
Excluded: Normal wear and tear, damage from misuse.

The 14-day right does not apply to: - Custom rugs made to your specifications - Rugs that have been personalized or made-to-order
